Prayers For The Road
'Outline' is the annual illustration festival in Jerusalem. It takes place every year at August, and opens pop-up illustration gallerias all over the city.
On 2020 I was asked to join with other eleven illustrators to the exhibition 'prayers for the road' were each had to deal with its title
I chose to show how as a creative person, a truly honest search for authenticity and one's self will result in the total disappearance of the searcher. The text accompanied my illustration was: "The farther I will go in search for myself, the more I will have to forget myself, up to a disappearance. And then?"
You can read all about the exhibition, at the festival's official website:
And hear me talk about my illustration at Shachar Bechor's podcast 'Mekashkesh'.
